Santa Authors 2011

Good Morning Authors.

Aunt Lynn here. Wave and I — and the readers! — are so appreciative of the generous donations many of you make for our annual Big-Ass Holiday Author Giveaway™ (BAHAG), and this is on top of the offerings throughout the year for our daily free books. We know that the readers are grateful for these freebies when budgets are tight and cashola for entertainment can take a hit in this tough economy. Over the last three years the BAHAG has exploded in size and popularity beyond our wildest imaginations, and we’re thrilled!

As we usually do this time of year, we’re asking you to consider offering up a free copy of one (or more!) of your books for the 2011 BAHAG. It can be a new release, an upcoming release, or a backlisted title, or dare I say it – maybe even a beloved series — it’s your choice. This is a super-duper holiday gift to the readers, and we consistently hear how thankful they are that you participate.

The timing of the 2011 BAHAG will be a little different than in years past. Because of the huge amount of time this takes me, Wave and any guest reviewers who pitch in, we are posting on December 22 so that we may have time to enjoy the holidays with our families and friends. The December 22 post will list all the free books that have been donated, together with the names of the authors who are Santas this year.

If you would like to make the holidays special for a reader, please add the name of the book(s) in the comments section of this here post together with your public email address * . Please do not email your donations to me or Wave. The only way that the readers know in advance which books are being offered up is to post them here. The deadline for submission is midnight EST December 19 so that I can prepare the master list, finish the post and buy enough alcohol and sugary snacks to get through it. :)

Thank you again for being so generous, now and in the past. Happy Holidays (and Merry Christmas/Hannukah Sameach /Yule Blessings/Happy Kwanza/insert-holiday-greeting-of-choice-not-listed).

* You MUST provide your email addy. If you do not, we will not include you on the BAHAG, no matter how generous you are. Last year we had many authors not give us a way to contact them and it literally took me, Wave and Cole days to get the winners’ names out by the time we did web searches. If for some reason you don’t want your addy made public by including it on the post, email me at the following: freebooks [at] reviewsbyjessewave.com. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi guys

Aunt Lynn is in charge this year because she is WAY more efficient than yours truly so the giveaway should run on oiled wheels or lots of alcohol, whichever is better. I want to personally express my deepest appreciation and thanks to all the authors who participate every year. This is one of the funnest projects and I’m sure you know how much I enjoy this giveaway every year. Please give generously.  Santa will be on his sleigh on December 22nd with your special delivery. :biglove:   If you’re interested in helping out please leave a comment on the post.
