Thank you M/M readers. I feel your pain about having to choose one nominee as your absolute favourite M/M author so that he or she could qualify as a finalist in our first Favourite M/M Author contest. You did great and we have a wonderful slate of finalists now that the nominations have closed. They are, in no particular order:

Although they didn’t make the list of finalists, what was amazing was the number of authors who were highly regarded by readers. Being an M/M author is a tough gig. Sure M/M is a much smaller pond than M/F but that means our authors live in a fish bowl, so those authors who came in just below the ‘cut’ line should be proud of their achievement. Here are a few of your nominees who came this close to being a finalist:

Now the fun part begins with the voting and good luck to all the finalists. Christian has set up a poll on the right hand sidebar just above the Reading Rooms. Oh no not again. It was hard enough the first time. They have all me given so many hours of pleasure and I’d like to thank them all for that. They surely are The Best of the best.

Have followed Josh Lanyon since his first Adrien English title, but have to say the Roux/Urban team has presented us with some surprising talent recently. But hey! every one of the finalists AND honorable mentions are on my MUST HAVE list.
I love all the authors on that list so choosing only one was cruel. I would’ve included Kaje Harper too if I was allowed more than one vote.
Amazing list, including Honorable Mentions! I’ve read all but one (and you can bet I ‘ll read that one next!) and I have many favorites from each of these authors. Congratulations to them all, and a Huge ThankYou to each of them for providing me with so many hours of memorable reading.
