THE REVIEW

I love stories about a man wearing a corset because if he has the right body type it makes him look so sexy and androgynous, yet all man. Evan, OTOH, didn’t like how men looked in corsets so when he was asked to create one for Kyle to wear on-stage he wasn’t too keen, until the rock star walked in the door. Kyle had a body that didn’t quit, just the type to show off a corset to its best advantage whether or not he was performing. Would the fitting make Evan change his mind about men in corsets? He had taken the job only because of the free advertisement potential, but his priorities soon changed as Kyle demonstrated he was more than a musician.

Rob Knight knows how to sprinkle humour and heat throughout his stories even such a short one. As Evan prepared to entertain his new client with Cheetos, Ho-Hos and mini bottles of wine stolen from his last plane ride, during the fitting for a waist cincher, to his surprise his temperature began to rise along with everything at hand. He had always been a ladies’ man and Kyle was definitely a man, but that didn’t dull Evan’s fire as Kyle stripped down to be measured.

This short story does not pretend to be anything but what it is: a very hot piece of fluff and I thought the author did a great job working the tension between the two MCs to the highest level, something he’s very skilled at doing. Evan had never been with a man and he was overwhelmed by Kyle’s body – his scent and the hair on his chest which was so different from that of a woman – but so inviting. The tats that went all the way down Kyle’s body to his thighs were the last straw for Evan, as the heat between them burst into flames. Poor Evan was out of his element but what a way to go, as he touched Kyle everywhere during the fitting and kept on touching and touching and touching ….

Recommended for readers looking for a short erotic read just before bedtime.
