So, I apparently have been super-lax in reminding folks who did not contact me after winning books because the last time I did it was July! Yikes, bad Aunt Lynn. Yeah, well, I’ve been busy, dammit!
Anyway, I have noticed that quite a few of readers in that time have not come forward for their booty—way more than usual, it seems—which makes Randy very sad (see how sad Randy looks over there leaning so fetchingly on the free books that are left by their lonesome?).
I am not sure why this is; you have interest enough to put your name into the hat (many of you daily!), yet some of you either never check the next day or two, or forget to email me, or go on a secret mission into the jungles of Peru for your secret-spy job. Or something. In all fairness, I must to take into account that we suffered three+ weeks of tech hell with the site in October/early November, though that does not say what is going on the rest of the time, nor why folks didn’t check once we were back up and running. Whatever the cause, it makes me, Randy, Wave and the offerer (publisher/author) have frowny faces because we want you to get your freebies!
What I’ve decided to do with this list is, based on recommendations of the cool ladies around the lunch table of the recent Bay Area M/M Reader’s Group monthly get-together, is anyone who does NOT contact me in response this post by email within ten days doesn’t get the book they won. I will take the group of leftover unclaimed reads and offer them up in a batch, then Randy can have a field-day picking names for the remainders.
Please find below a list of those who never contacted me from August through November (yes, I know the last week of November winners is a bit quick for this list, but I thought I’d get through the month):

If you see your name on this list, please email me — Aunt Lynn — at freebooks [at] reviewsbyjessewave.com so that I can forward your information (including format of choice) to the publisher (and put a smile on Randy’s face). If it is a DSP title, I’ll need the email addy associated with your account. Also, if you did contact me and either we fulfilled or I missed your email, apologies.
And lastly, get the word out! If you know someone on this list, tell them to get their butt over here to see how to get their book.

I was hoping my name was on the list somewhere…even with the scolding
… Maybe next time
I’d love another shot at some of these books. Let me at ‘em.
This is fair, I think.
O.M.G.
I’m dying here, seriously! Ironic, indeed.
I was reading along and smiling, and then skimmed down the names to see if anyone I recognized was on there…
And then I saw my own name!
(In my defense, there was a while there I was having trouble getting on the site, and so limiting my activity to trying to get my $&#% reviews posted; that’s my story and I’m sticking to it
)
Zombies ate their brains and made them forget is my guess. But hey, if they don’t want their prizes, I’ll definitely take one, there’s a few books I’ve been dying to read on that list.
Whao! I won! Sending mail now. Sorry about that.
Unfortunately/Fortunately, my name was nowhere to be found!
Wow, I usually hover waiting to see if I won,
Poor Randy!!!
I seriously hoped my name was there but no…I picked up my books
I wouldn’t mind to get a chance for those who wander helplessly around, yearning to be read…poor books, I would take care of you.
Hi, Aunt Lynn! I’m on the list, and sent you an email. Me? Turn down a free book? No way. Thanks for letting us know, and Randy, I’m sorry!
I love that photo!! Please can I have him delivered? I’d soon cheer him up!
You’re right, Wave! I was sure I had sent her the book, but I checked through my email archives and discovered 1) I haven’t, and 2) I don’t have an address to send it to. Please send me the contact information off group. Thanks!
Hi Anel. The winner never contacted me, that is why you didn’t send the book or hear from us yet. We don’t go searching for winners — it takes too much time, unfortunately — so unless they take the first step, they’re out of luck. We will probably, however, after the first of the year sometime, have a big giveaway of unclaimed books, so maybe then a different person will be more conscientious about claiming their booty.
I assumes they had to leave their contact information when they entered the contest. I always do because I’m such a sporadic website checker.
