Santa Authors 2012

Good Morning Authors.

Aunt Lynn here. It’s that time again, time for our annual Big-Ass Holiday Author Giveaway™ (BAHAG). Many of you have written to me asking if we’re going to do it again, and yes we are! We are so grateful for the donations we get for this giant event, that on top of the offerings you authors and pubs make throughout the year for the daily free books. The readers love the daily freebies and the BAHAG is something they look forward to since wallets are still pretty dry.

As we usually do this time of year, we’re asking you to consider offering up a free copy of one (or more!) of your books for the 2012 BAHAG. It can be a new release, an upcoming release, or a backlisted title, or dare I say it – maybe even a whole series — it’s your choice. This is a super-duper holiday gift to the readers, and we consistently hear how thankful they are that you participate.

The 2012 BAHAG will happen on again on December 22 — a Saturday this year. The post that day will list all the free books that have been donated, together with the names of the authors who are Santas this year. And then the insanity and chaos ensues. :)

If you would like to make the holidays special for a reader, please add the name of the book(s) in the comments section of this here post together with your public email address * . Please do not email your donations to me or Wave. The only way that the readers know in advance which books are being offered up is to post them here. The deadline for submission is midnight EST December 19 so that I can prepare the master list, finish the post and get my energy supplies together. :)

Thank you again for being so generous, now and in the past. Happy Holidays (and Merry Christmas/Hannukah Sameach/Yule Blessings/Happy Kwanza/insert-holiday-greeting-of-choice-not-listed).

* You MUST provide your email addy. Yes, we know that you register with the site with an email address, and I could go and search for them after-the-fact…but I won’t.  :)   It’s a big extra step for me in a project this big, and because of the amount of time that takes, if you do not, we will not include you on the BAHAG no matter how generous you are. If for some reason you don’t want your addy made public by including it on the post, email me at the following: bahag [at] reviewsbyjessewave.com. Thank you for your understanding.

    Jules Jones Australia says:

I’m going to be late in delivering, because as usual I’m spending the Christmas/New year period on the end of a piece of wet string. But for those willing to wait, I’ve got the following:

one person – winner’s choice of any of my titles as a solo author at Loose Id. By early January this will probably include the re-release of my novella in the Kiss At Midnight anthology as a solo title (the anthology is being withdrawn from sale at the end of the year).

one person – a copy of my m/m fantasy short story which was re-released by Musa earlier this year. This is not a romance, so please read Jenre’s review at Brief Encounters before asking for this one.
