I’m very much looking forward to Elliott’s interview. I don’t have any questions right now, but if I think of any, I’ll be back …

When I was reading the second book in the series I was on one hand pleasantly surprised as a romance lover because I thought that the books took more romantic turn. However I was also wondering whether this was your initial plan to take the books in more romantic direction . It is not that romance felt forced , but the in the first book his romance life felt much grittier if that makes sense?

I’ve just finished reading “Welcome Home, Captain Harding” and am sad to think this is the last we’ll see of Joe. But all good things come to an end I suppose. I’d like to ask Elliott how he feels about saying goodbye to Joe, and also, what is in the pipeline?

(I was interested that Elliott mentions “The God In Flight” by Laura Argiri as being one of the works that influenced the creation of “Welcome Home , Captain Harding”. That’s one of my favourite gay fiction books, but it isn’t talked about very often, so it was a pleasure to see it crop up in the author’s afterword.)
