Diane
This is my last and highest recommendation of dragon stories - The Draegan Lords which is a series by M.L. Rhodes who I don't think has any equal when it comes to paranormal stories. The series is ongoing and you can get the first two books from Amber Allure which together make up The Draegan Lords (print).
Here's the link to my review

Good luck.

Diane

There is another dragon series that I reviewed a year or more ago - one book is a menage but it's one of the few menages that I would read again. From my recollection there is quite a bit of dragon action between the characters and the author is Marty Rayne.

Here are the links to my reviews which are still on the blog. The first book is Reluctant Hearts and it's kind of a time shifting story -

The second book is M/F and is part of the same series but the books are independent of each other if I remember correctly and here's the link to my review

Good luck

Hi Diane
I'm so glad you weren't disappointed. Most dragon stories don't have a lot of face time in shifted form but I'll try to remember to send you a couple more titles of dragon stories that I enjoyed. As you are aware I'm sure, we're in a state of flux right now importing all the posts from the blog but I'll make a note.

Lex says that she has a few other M/M stories coming out between now and Christmas and the sequel to Fire Season (Fire Storm) which is a menage should be released in September.

I just finished Fire Season and really liked it. I'll definitely read other M/M titles by this author. This was my first dragon story and I found the dynamic very interesting. I wish the author had included more scenes with the characters in shifted form.

Wave - are there any other dragon stories you would recommend?

" Just because I’m a female who has sex with men and is writing a series doesn’t mean that I can’t include books about men having sex with men in my series" A lot of people don´t agree with you on that one *g*

Thanks for your lengthy explanation. I can see that with your background it is easier to write the story as you did for this series.

Hi Ingrid!

I was once asked which of my characters I am most like and my reply was Garret Renquist. That is because, like Garret, I think sex is person specific not gender specific for many people. Unfortunately, I think we all get somewhat programmed by culture and society. I don't believe in "hardwiring" the way it's interpreted/explained by those who defend it.

I was a Biological Anthropology major so a lot of the Darwinian based ideas are more my thing, that instead of hardwired, we're soft-coded by circumstances, culture, society, environment, and our psyches and personality traits... So to me, sex between the same gender holds no fears for me, no morality or ethical issues. I think heterosexuality and homosexuality are cultural terms used to explain what's really inexplicable about sexual attraction. Just as some people say religion was invented to explain what was originally inexplicable about the origins of humankind.
Ack. Sorry about the science lecture. The short answer is that I'm very open to most ideas. Just because I'm a female who has sex with men and is writing a series doesn't mean that I can't include books about men having sex with men in my series. Some of the people I love most in the world are men who have sex with men.

To me, characters have to fit each other psychologically. There has to be a reason they want each other, love each other. They have to... fit. :) I like delving into them and showing why and how they fit. I don't care who it is they want to have sex with. I just want to get under all their skins and tell their stories. Corey's story Sunstroked will be a lot of fun for the Tales series because Corey is a very fun guy. He even completely stole the show in Hot Water as a secondary character.
I'm very excited to find new readers who are not afraid to ask me questions about my characters. :)

The scene at the spring is definitely hot Wave *g* And the one on the balcony and.... Anyway you get the idea.

Thank you Lex for explaining the other books. Will have a look for when they come out.
And kudo´s for taking on a m/m in a series.
What made you decide for taking it on? I have read other series where I thought the hero would have been better of with a man but there the writer did not take that leap. (Hence the many slash fiction *g*)

Hi Valentine
As you can see from the number of 'views' on the review, a lot of bloggers have checked it out and I hope that many of them end up buying the book because I think it's great.

Some M/M readers, like me, read this sub genre because they are only interested in the guys and I will definitely log on to your website to check out the other M/M books.

In terms of Holden and Garret, since the woman in the "menage" is already dead and does not impact on the story in a material way, that could put a different perspective on things. In any event the book is not out as yet so I don't want to get ahead of myself.:)

Best of luck with the other books in the series.
