I'm not even remotely the person you should ask when it comes to tech or format questions but I know what people to ask. We'll look into what we can do.

I think Loose ID was the first site I bought an M/M title from as well. It has quality stuff. I just wish the site’s search feature was a little more user friendly. For example, if you want to browse M/M paranormal titles, you either have to go to Gay/Lesbian/Transgender and then wade through all the titles looking for paranormal stuff or go into the paranormal list and try to find M/M titles among the M/F and ménage books.

I guess basically what I am saying is that I am lazy *g*. But seriously, I buy most of my books based on reviews, but sometimes I just like to try new authors spontaneously – I know Loose ID has material I’d love; I just have to find it. :)

Sorry -- I went to bed last night thinking no one was going to do anything but pay me compliments. (Not that I'm complaining about compliments or anything.) I woke up and found questions!

I'll ask about the unlisted date for copyright with my e-book formatting partner because I have no clue.

I'm so glad you are pleased with the quality of LI books, Cathleen. I'm not the only one who reads the submissions now (there are too many) but we always hash over what submissions we have and what they would offer our readers before we accept them. The editors and authors do a great job.

A werewolf couldn't possibly make me get carpets cleaned as much as my late, much beloved, highly neurotic mini dachshund with the emergency auxiliary bladder. The carpet cleaning guy once said, "That dog is my best friend."

Thanks Jen. Treva really was a good sport about the interview and extremely professional. Very few edits - I like that in an interviewee.:) When we think we're busy all we have to do is look at Treva's daily schedule and we realize that maybe we do have an hour or so to spare.

Great interview Wave and Treva. Loose Id was the first epub that I bought from (feeling rather nervous which seems silly now) and remained the only one for a while as I caught up on reading m/m. I associate it with good quality writing and editing.

I'm also amazed at all you manage to fit into your life, Treva. You must never sleep! :)

Incredible company run by incredible people.

(Treva, you mean M. hasn't hooked you up with a werewolf yet? WTF? Well, it's probably for the best. You'd probably spend a fortune getting your carpet cleaned.)

On the off-handed chance Treva checks out these comments, as an owner of Loose ID, I thought she might like the below data:
I keep a database of the books that I've read in the last 2 years. There are 449 Titles. I have rated just 11 of those a 9.5+ (out of 10), & Loose ID has 2 of those. I have nine Loose ID books rated at 8.75+ which is 40% of the titles I have completed reading from them. There are only 3 below a 7.0 rating. I have not had one I considered a waste of $. I think for 25 or so books that's saying a lot.
Question for Treva: I lean heavy to eBooks (95%). I have noticed when entering data into my DB that many of the Loose ID titles have no date following the Copyright ©. I have to go to the internet to find the year published. I was just curious why?
