The move of the site is now a thing of the past. My heartfelt thanks to Christian our wonderful Webmaster. I sent him a case of champagne from all of us.
If you can’t access the site or are getting error messages it could be because you have not cleared your browser - this would include your temporary internet files, cookies etc. You then have to restart your computer to get rid of the old data from the previous host. Many of you have written me which is why I know you are having problems logging on to the site.
On Friday A.J. Llewellyn did a post which is actually a tutorial on how to write M/M and created a furore because so many of you logged on and commented and over 550 of you viewed his post so far. Here’s the link in case you missed it http://www.reviewsbyjessewave.com/?p=12069
Yesterday Tam did your Christmas shopping for you and if you haven’t seen her post here is the link

Yesterday I reviewed Becoming Us by Anah Crow and Dianne Fox and here’s the link if you haven’t checked it out as yet
http://www.reviewsbyjessewave.com/?p=12476
Lynn reviewed Cutting Cords by Mickie B. Ashling yesterday and here’s the link
http://www.reviewsbyjessewave.com/?p=12451
Jenre reviewed Love Me Dead a MLR anthology with stories by William Maltese, A.M. Riley and Lex Valentine. Here’s the link

This week is as usual jam packed with new posts and reviews so I’ll start right away. The Followers widget is back and it’s on the right hand side bar at the top. If you haven’t signed on I hope you do.
Dreamspinner Press has donated all of the books in its 2009 Mistletoe Madness collection and every day in the month of December I will post a daily dose which a lucky reader can win by random draw.
I just posted my review of Treva Harte’s first M/M book Leftovers which I thought was delightful. Here’s the link

Tomorrow December 7, William Maltese is guest blogging about why M/M books written by men for men, and M/M books written by women for women, are different. There should be quite a lively debate as he pulls no punches. <g>
The Amber Allure “free” book is Wanting by M.L. Rhodes and I hope to post my review of Wanting. Val will entice you with her review of The Summer Gardener by Jan Irving and Lynn will tell you all about Clippings which is self published and is by A.J. Mirag.
On Tuesday Victor J. Banis is talking about his favourite books because he didn’t want Teddypig to steal all the limelight with his post last Thursday. As usual Victor’s commentary is almost as good as the books he is recommending.
Jenre will review Deeper Blue by A.J. Llewellyn and Lynn will tell you all about Wranglers: the Defense Rests. Also on Tuesday Leslie is reviewing New Year’s Fantasies. I haven’t been able to contact Erastes because she’s busy spending her very large royalty cheque from Samhain. If she does drop by I’ll let you know what she’ll be writing about. Stop the presses!! (I always wanted to say that <g>) I found Erastes and she going to write about how to portray a historical hero without making him a horrible person – because obviously he’s likely to have views about stuff like women, slaves, war, that are not particuarly popular today… This should make for a very interesting discussion.
On Wednesday December 9, I’m interviewing Hayden Thorne who is well known as the author of the Masks trilogy and other YA books.
I will be reviewing Ice Cream on the Side the first release by Wren Boudreau who is well known to most of you who frequent this site. The Amber Allure “free” book is Sins of Omission by India Harper.
On Thursday I have a surprise post but it wouldn’t be a surprise and if I told you what it was going to be I would have to kill you. <g>. I guarantee you will love it. Hot men galore - it’s a new Friday’s Guys post.
On Friday the guys are here and by special request I have made a change. You will have to log on to see what it is.
Lynn is reviewing Lessons in Temptation by Charlie Cochrane and Jen will review Rust Belt by Jessica Freely
On Saturday Jen is reviewing Matchmen by one of her favourite authors, T.C. Blue. I have a few more reviews to post but as usual I’m not sure which ones wll be finished.
Next Monday, December 14 I’m interviewing Josh Lanyon to celebrate the last book in his Adrien English series The Dark Tide which will be released much later this month. Thanks to Batboy and thelastaerie who submitted a few questions. I can’t wait to see how Josh will respond.
Till next week boys and girls.

I’m looking forward William Maltese’s and Victor Banis’ blogs, surprise post (on my birthday, yay!) and, of course, interview with Josh Lanyon (T-minus 16 days, 15 day, 14… no pressure here XD).
Hi LadyM
William’s post is pretty controversial. Victor’s is just Victor – sweet.
*
For your birthday we’ll have a cake, only you won’t be able to eat it.
I could not resist and bought both the Allure new releases already. ML Rhodes is on auto buy and I remember we had some unresolved issues with ms Harpers first book so I need to read that one too.
*
Looking forward to Victor’s list
Ingrid
I could understand about M.L. I wouldn’t have been able to wait either.
Another great week to look forward to! Lots of interesting topics too, especially regarding m/m writers and audience… mmm…
and of course, Josh’s interview!! that will be a memorable preparation for the “farewell for the time being” (you know I am forever a hopeful optimist) final book.
Hi Eve
When I emailed Josh last week he was all set to respond to the questions. I can’t wait.
**squees at mention of The Dark Tide** I so can’t wait for this book.
At the same time, I’m dreading the moment when there will be no more new Adrien English novels to look forward to, ever. :-S
*
Rhodes’s book WANTING really appeared out of nowhere as far as I’m concerned. I check both her site and Amber Allure on a rather regular basis and never saw that story mentionned there that I can recall. Then poof! I saw it in your “coming soon” carousel. I was like ‘holy cow!’ where the hell did that come from?? And it soud really good at that. I decided to view it as an advance Christmas gift. LOL.
*
I really need to resume reading Charlie’s LESSONS series again. I read 2/3 of the first book months ago and liked it a lot, but was forced to stop my reading for a long forgotten reason and somehow never went back to it. I have at least 5 unfinished e-books like that. Maybe if I printed them out I’d read them to the end more often.
*
And of course I didn’t learn of the DPS advent calendar free books before I had browsed them all and already bought all the ones that interested me, but I’ll still keep an eye on the giveaway. Perhaps there’s one I overlooked somewhere in there.
*
Have a nice week!
Hi Mary Last I heard it was almost 100K.
We’re all waiting to read The Dark Tide. I think he’s still writing it.
*
Wanting was written in a few days according to ML. I don’t know how she does that.
*
Charlie’s series is very good. Christian, Lynn and I have all reviewed them and each one is better than the previous book.
* I bought the entire series.
If you must spend money then the DSP advent calendar is a good way to do so.
Wave, I so agree with you about Charlie’s Lesson’s Series. I love them. I just finished Strange Fortune…Josh did it again. I just sat there and read it until I finished. He is such a great storyteller and character developer.
Btw….I am rereading Almost Like Being In Love. I wrote to you previously and thanked you for including it in the top books listing. I’m still laughing and feeling as much for the characters as I did the first time I read it.
Thanks Wave your site really is the best!
Hi Lisa
Thanks so much for the feedback. I really appreciate it when bloggers/readers let us know whether our recs. are on the mark.

I’m writing my Top 10 list for this year (I did one last year as well with some Honourable Mentions) and I hope you will check out the post. It won’t be until the end of the month since I don’t want to miss any late arrivals.
You can bet Almost Like Being in Love will be on the list
*nodding* Almost Like Being in Love is an excellent choice. I always knew you had good taste *g*
Am I wrong?
*
And I’m betting one of those expected “late arrivals” is The Dark Tide
Hi Mary
I wrote Steve Kluger to thank him for this wonderful book and he responded right away telling me that his PR people had sent him a copy of the review when it was posted. He was very nice and gave me some background to the story which was very funny. Maybe I’ll send you a copy of his email since you were the one who insisted that I read this book.
You’re right about Almost Like Being In Love.
*
I’ll have to see about The Dark Tide when I’m finished reading it.
*
I’m hoping to get a lot of reading done over the holidays and I intend to finish Heroes and Ghosts.
