Treva Harte, Publisher – Interview

In part 2 of my 4 part series on the publishing industry I will be interviewing Treva Harte, in her capacity as Editor-in-Chief and co-owner of LooseID on Monday, March 2nd. This interview was scheduled way before my post on menage vs M/M so you guys are in luck. Treva says she is ready to answer all your “publishing” questions.

If you have questions for Treva on the publishing industry please email me by Friday, February 6 so that I can send them out to her by the weekend. Thank you.

Other publishers scheduled for this series are Angela James, Executive Editor of Samhain Publishing on April 29 and Laura Baumbach will return on a date yet to be scheduled, in her capacity as Owner and Publisher of MLR Press.

Authors and readers please step up to the plate and send your questions to jessewave@gmail.com

I will ask a few questions but they don’t have to be anonymous because Treva is so sweet and approachable.
    1. Hi Treva, what genre and sub genres are selling the best at LI right now? M/M? Sci fi? What? I like to know when planning new books for you.
    2. One thing I love about Loose id is that they let me push the envelope as an author more than any other publisher I write for. Which means if my muse wants to write something right on the edge and really naughty, Treva and co. are supportive of my dirty urges. lol. So my question is, Treva, why aren’t you guys at Loose id letting the readers know that you have the naughtiest books on the Internet? I think it’s a real selling point that you don’t limit your authors with lots of silly rules. (And I love you guys for it!)
    Hugs, Evangeline

I’ll make sure that your questions are included when I put together the interview (just in case she doesn’t see this post).

Thanks for helping me out with a couple of questions :)
