Anyone read Between Sinners and Saints, the new release by Marie Sexton? I loved it! She managed to work in disapproving family and religion without getting all preachy and negative. Nicely done and a great story.

Hi everyone, just finished re-reading Fish and Chips!! Does anyone know when the next book Divide and Conquer is coming out?
From Madeleine Urban’s website, ”…Divide & Conquer, to be done on deadline for an early 4th quarter release (barring crisis…” – So I figure that’s October-ish. The post was dated May 25th and mentions they were just finishing the book at that time.
And I’m curious when were going to see more about Zane’s family and early life. What little I’ve seen about book four (and where the authors traveled for research) would indicate it isn’t in book #4.
Thanks so much Denni, I swear I did go to her site first and didn’t see a date but anyways thanks. I would like to know more about Zane’s family too, didn’t Zane say they were very wealthy?
Lovely authors, but if either keeps an up-to-date website…I haven’t found it yet. OTOH, I’d rather they spent all their time writing not blogging!!!
If you SEARCH ”cunning weaver” Madeleine’s livejournal site will come up. Her play list is posted. If you go back to 12/10 there are pics of Baltimore there and other stuff. have fun!
October 14th!!

I just read ”Tatterdemalion” and am afraid to get ”Trammel” since I have a bad feeling about it after reading the comments. Does anyone know when a 3rd book is going to come out? And *is* there going to be a 3rd book?

I don’t know why I continue to buy some of Stormy Glenn’s books. Some of the storylines/series are interesting but for the most part, once you’ve read 2-4 of ’em, she doesn’t generate any new ideas in them. I guess maybe because they’re *so* very lightweight, no-brainers. But I still feel robbed. So don’t anyone else waste their time/money getting ”Honor Bound” – it’s beyond silly and the modern dialogue and expressions were distracting considering that it was supposed to be set in Viking times.
And I bought the first two of a series by Joyee Flynn; I should have known better since she co-wrote with Stormy.
Ditto Sherry. I’ve read a couple and kinda enjoyed them, and have a couple more wishlisted b/c they sound good. But then I remember the stereotype characters and ’fluff’…so they never quite make my ’to buy’ final cut.
BTW – thanks for the info on Joyee Flynn. Been seeing that name recently and wondered. Probably why she seems to have written alot of books, but doesn’t make any ’Recommended’ lists.
I feel the same way about Stormy Glenn’s books

Do the Amber Allure Masquerade book covers creep anybody else out? I can’t get past those covers to even consider reading any of the books.
The covers are a little off-putting but I bought my favorite authors and enjoyed the stories.
Okay, now I have to go look at ’em.
Those!!!! Yes, they do! They remind me of the mask from ”Scream.”
OMG, YES! I’ve been wanting to comment since the line was introduced…they are awful, creepy, and just ick. What was the publisher thinking?
This is too funny. Ive always thought the covers were creepy too. LOL!!! Im lucky to get past the blurbs.

Eeep, the ’Reply’ feature still seems to be broken in this forum. I also enjoyed ”Dark Horse” Sherry, m/m/m is rather difficult to find. I just finished GhosTV (Psycop) by JCP and loved it!

This probably isn’t the right venue but I’m usually not a fan of m/m/m or cowboys. But I’m halfway through reading ”Dark Horse” by Kate Sherwood and quietly cried……the emotion as written was heart wrenching! I actually read the sequel first because I wanted to skip the sad scenes but just had to get it as well. An excellent writer and I’m always a fan of loooong stories when they’re this well written.
What are other folks up to?
