Does Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest still exist
Except for the Eagle's Nest, only few “authentic” buildings of the Third Reich are preserved to this day. The Eagle's Nest was not hit during the airstrike on 25th April 1945 and still exists in its original form today.
The easiest way to experience the Eagle's Nest is a guided bus tour that starts in the city. Visitors can also take the public bus up to the top or enjoy a foot march offering magnificent sweeping views of the Bavarian Lake Königssee.
